The headlines

Haywards Heath Baptist Church is a family-friendly church with a big heart for our local community.

We aim to have an informal, welcoming atmosphere where people can discover more about Jesus and grow in their faith.

Our recently rebuilt church premises are on Sussex Road near the centre of Haywards Heath.

Our values

We believe that God has called us to be an outward-looking church which proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ by living out our five core values. We are not perfect, but with God's help, we try to be:

God-focused: Worship of God lies at our heart and inspires us to share in his mission. All of our life and activity is underpinned by prayer.
Sacrificial: We lay aside our own preferences to allow what we do to be shaped by those we are seeking to reach.
Transformational: We are partners in the Holy Spirit's transforming work. We are not self-focused, but are a servant and a sign of God's kingdom.
Disciple-making: We are active in calling people to faith in Jesus Christ and to developing consistent Christian lifestyles.
Relational: We are characterised by welcome, hospitality and interdependent relationships.
